Cranberry Pear Vodka Cocktail Recipe

This is a simple pear vodka cocktail! We are upgrading the classic cranberry vodka and using Pear Vodka, which adds a lovely fruity sweetness. This is also perfect for holidays!
This upgraded vodka cranberry made from Pear Vodka is one of my favorite holiday cocktails. It’s beautiful, easy to make a lot, and it feels special thanks to pear vodka. Our recipe below shares how to make a cocktail, but check the notes for my tips on serving the crowd in the pitcher!
This is one of many cocktail recipes inspired to taste. Some of the ones you might like are Lemon Drop Martini (I love Lemon Candy), our classic cosmopolitan and another crowd-friendly cocktail, Mimosa!
Key Ingredients
- Pear vodka: Use quality pear vodka (we like the grey goose La Poire). Feel free to substitute other flavored or infused vodkas, such as citrus, orange and peaches.
- Cranberry Juice: The most common option is the “Cranberry Juice Cocktail”, which adds some sugar. You can also find unsweetened cranberry juice, which is even more sour. Use something you like, but remember that if you use unsweetened juice, you may need to add a sweetener to your cocktail to balance it.
- Three seconds: This orange-flavored liqueur adds subtle sweetness and a hint of citrus to complement the sour cranberry. You can make this cocktail without it, but if you have it on hand, give it a try.
- lime: I like to squeeze a piece of lime into a glass and think it brings everything together.
- Pear slices and mint: These are optional, but they make the cocktails look particularly special if you plan to offer this during the holidays.

Adam and Joanne’s Tips
- Cranberry Juice: Usually 100% cranberry juice is not added with sugar, so you may need some sweetener (see notes below). Cranberry juice cocktails usually add a little sugar.
- Become sweeter: If you like a sweet drink, add a teaspoon of simple syrup, agave nectar or maple syrup. This lemon ginger syrup is also delicious.
- Production Service 6 pitchers: Combine 6 ounces of pear vodka, 2 cups (16 ounces) raspberry juice, 2 ounces for three seconds, with 1/2 of lime juice in the pitcher. Stir well, taste, and adjust with sweetener or more lime. Serve on ice.
